Pidän kauhuleffoista, mutta pelottavia kauhuleffoja on aika vähän (ainakin kaikki mitä itse olen nähnyt eivät ole olleet erityisemmin pelottavia).

Huonoja
Kauna oli surkea, ei siinä ollut mitään pelottavaa. Kohdat joista olisi voitu tehdä edes vähän pelottavia oli jollain tavalla saatu sellaisiksi ettei niissä ollut mitään pelottavaa.
Annabelle oli surkea. Annabelle-nukke on pelottavan näköinen ja oli Kirotussa karmiva mutta tämä elokuva romutti nuken kaiken karmivuuden.
Child's play on myös ajanhukkaa.
The Ring oli pettymys. Odotin sen olevan hyvä mutta se on täysin yliarvostettu leffa joka ei ollut tippaakaan pelottava.

Hyviä
Kirottu oli ihan hyvä ei paras mutta tunnelma oli mielestäni kohdallaan.
The purge 2 oli katsomisen arvoinen mutta ei sekään pelottava ollut. Ideasta pidin paljon.
Saw leffat 4 ja 6 lukuunottamatta. Raakoja ne kyllä ovat mutta juoni on loistava.
The Babadook on ehdottomasti paras kauhuleffa jonka olen nähnyt. Sen tunnelma oli loistava. Ei pelottavin mutta kaikista mitä itse olen katsonut tämä on paras.

Kauhuelokuvista kun puhutaan itse muistan aina Halloween 1978, eli se ainoa oikea sekä sittemmin sen kaikki erilaiset jatko-osat.

Marraskuussa sitten huomasin että Jenkeissä on myynnissä Halloween: The Complete Collection (Limited Deluxe Edition) [Blu-ray] 15 levyn boxi höystettyinä erilaisilla extroilla ja documenteilla sekä kauan odotetulla: Halloween 6: the curse of the michael myers Producers Cut.

Googlailin hieman niin huomasin että ks boxia ei ole Euroopassa eikä tule B/region2.. Ainoastaan Jenkeissä/Canadassa :(

Ostin silti tuon boxin kun omistan region free bluray/dvd soittimen ja hyvin olen saanut ks boxia katseltua.  Suosittelen kovasti jos pystyy jotenkin katselemaan Region1/ A1  bluray levyjä!!

Hommasin kylkeen myös rob zombien Halloween 1 ja 2 Theatrical Cut elokuvat yhdessä bluray levyssä,kun nuo Producer cut versiot on niin raakoja sekä jotenkin tökkiviä versioita. Ja muutenkin Teatteriversiot on paremmat juonellisesti ja soljuvat katsottaessa paremmin.
